We Build New Hope Together
The Arizona All-Nations Refugee Resource Center (AARRC) is a refugee-led, non-profit, and community-based organization dedicated to assisting new refugees in Metro Phoenix overcome economic, social, and legal barriers by providing education, advocacy, and empowerment programs. The AARRC works to establish community dialogue, awareness, and potential for new opportunities in terms of helping refugees acclimate to their new communities and country.
Arizona has a very diverse, thriving, and strong refugee population. Refugees in the state come from various countries, including but not limited to Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Somalia, Syria, Burma (Myanmar), and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The AARRC is extremely proud to serve refugees from these and other countries.
The main goal of the AARRC is to strengthen the refugee community by closing service gaps that remain after the initial resettlement service period. Due to these gaps and the requirements of our funding, we primarily serve refugees who have been in the United States for three months and up to five years.
Regardless of your gender, sexual orientation, nationality, class, race, ethnicity, abilities, religious background, or belief systems, the AARRC welcomes you! No matter who you are, where you come from, or how you identify, we will accept you in your full humanity. Stop on by and visit with us today. We would love to see you!
